"Wholesome" swimwear ... draw attention to your face, not your body!

Wednesday, 26 July 2006 11:27 A GMT-06
I found this website at work last night, (thanks to Onion A.V. Club blog The Hater) and started laughing hysterically.  And couldn't stop.  At least there were only a couple people around.

My grandmother died yesterday evening. She's had type II diabetes for years, and while she survived breast cancer, congestive heart failure, and brain surgery, it was kidney failure that ultimately took her from us. Mom emailed me on the

Yay, Liver!

Friday, 21 July 2006 7:54 A GMT-06
I recently visited the Liverman store and made a couple of purchases.  I didn't end up getting the beer stein that Kelly had featured, but got this coffee mug and a shirt.  Hmm ... I wonder how many other liver and/or spleen related shirts

Thursday, 20 July 2006 10:34 A GMT-06

So, I was basically sitting and twiddling my thumbs at the info desk, waiting for it to be time to take a  break, when one of the regulars came up with a question.  He needed pictures of Africa.  So, I took him over the the African geo

I'm taking it easy today. I went to work yesterday! It felt good to go back to work. Most of my co-workers had been really worried about me, so I explained a little of what was going on. Other than my spleen being SO big that

I'm free!

It's a long story that I don't have the energy to do justice to at the moment, so here's a few of the important bits:1. My spleen is big.  This is nothing new.  There's also a clot or two in the splenic vein, which flows into the spleen.&nb

Experimenting with YouTube

I've uploaded the crappy video I shot with my digital *still* camera last night during the chaotic amateur fireworks displays. It's just a 45 second clip, but that's what the neighborhood was like for over 2 hours. It's almost impossible

cars'r expensive

I haven't had functioning A/C in my car for awhile, but also didn't have time to take it into the shop to fix it -- until yesterday.  I drove it to a Ford dealer on Touhy that happens to by close to work and across the street from a Target.
